Annual Giving at Holy Names Academy is the foundation of the school’s fund-raising program. It provides financial aid for deserving students; enhances faculty, staff and coaches’ salaries; and supports special building or school projects. As a year-round program – July 1 through June 30 – Annual Giving invites the participation of all HNA constituents including trustees, alumnae, parents, alum parents, grandparents, members of the senior class, and friends of the Academy.
Leadership Gifts Phase – The Annual Giving Program officially begins each September when trustees, past trustees, faculty, staff, and leadership donors are invited to support the Academy.
Fall Phonathon – Callers invite all HNA alumnae to make a gift to their alma mater.
Spring Phonathon – Callers invite alumnae, alumnae parents, and friends of the Academy to support HNA.
Senior Class Appeal – At special visits to each senior homeroom, graduating seniors are encouraged to give back to the Academy by making a pledge - payable over five years - to HNA.
Full Funding Parent Program – An Annual Giving program designed specifically for current parents. The Full Funding Parent Program provides an opportunity for parents to help bridge the gap between tuition and the actual cost of an Academy education. All HNA parents are expected to participate in this program.

The Endowment Fund at Holy Names Academy is a permanently invested pool of money that produces sustained annual income to support critical financial aid for students, faculty and staff enrichment, and other school programs. The corpus of the fund is invested with guidance of the Investment Committee of the school’s Board of Trustees. Over the last decade, the threefold growth of the Endowment Fund has made it possible to keep an Academy education accessible to low- and moderate-income families whose resources have lagged the rate of tuition increases. The fund has also supported continuing professional development for the faculty and staff as they adapt to rapid advances in technology and fast-changing academic fields. It also supports growth of programs which allow classes to remain on the forefront of education, making an impact on students year after year.
The Scholarship Endowment is a significant source for financial aid—which in the 2016-17 school year totals $1.48 million, distributed to 32.1% of current students. Tuition for the year is $15,540.
