HNA Offers Sports Medicine Services
to Student Athletes

To support Holy Names Academy student athletes in preparation for, and participation in, all levels of competition, HNA is pleased to offer a variety of on-site sports medicine services with our Certified Athletic Trainer. Students are eligible to receive sports medicine services while registered for athletic programs. These services support the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries and medical conditions and help students achieve their best athletic results. 

Services provided:

  • 1:1 injury evaluation.
  • Concussion diagnosis and return to play protocol. View HNA's concussion information here. 
  • Strength and Conditioning for HNA sport teams and summer lifting program.
  • Graston, cupping, and manual therapies if necessary.
  • Normatec, Theragun, and other myofascial release modalities.

Julia Olson is a Board-Certified Athletic Trainer with over 10 years of experience, including six at HNA. She has worked at all levels of athletic participation including Division I athletics. Julia is Graston and cupping certified and holds a credential as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist, which allows her to tailor unique rehabilitation exercises to your daughter’s injury and sport biomechanics. Julia achieved her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training and a master’s degree in Sport in Exercise Science.
