What is a Social Justice Committee?

Each year in Theology classes, students discuss the myriad of social justice issues facing our society and choose one that they would like to address. Using design thinking, they brainstorm possible solutions and then implement projects that will help address this issue in their local community. Topics have included homelessness, racial justice, women’s rights, environmental justice, and human trafficking.

Nationally Recognized Social Justice Program

HNA's Social Justice Committees (SJC) have been nationally-recognized for three consecutive years by Design for Change.
